Keep in mind that Brookline just knocked off two top 20 teams in a row. That is more then the Berkeley Steelers have played all season.

Sweetman makes a very good point, despite playing out of the mighty Western Region,Berkeley still has not faced the talent Brookline has been going against each week. Brookline deserves the #2 ranking after defeating not one...but two players who were in the top 20 and are still in the top 25.

I'm not knocking the system, but its too bad some players have to depend on a computer ranking to determing their fate come Tournament time. Wins and losses should be the only way to go....If you get a certain amount of wins your guaranteed a spot in the national tournament.

Hanks Top 5....
#1Berkeley (CA)Steelers (9-0)-Forget this three shyt...Berkeley kicked Brookline's azz last season and could probably do the same to Georgia.

#2Georgia Patriots (9-0)-Has not been tested against the leagues best until tonight vs. Detroit

#3Anderson (SC)Redskins (9-1)-Made the final four last season...nasty year in and year out.

#4Elsinore (CA)Colts (8-1)-Getting sick of hearing about the fucking Elsinore Colts around here but he is nasty.

#5Long Island Eagles (9-1)-Best damn team in the East and these fucking power ratings do him no justice!

I hate when computers determine anything too.......but again in a league this big (unless your gonna expand the amount of teams that get into the national tournament) there is nothing you could really do. And the bottom line is,unless your a bubble team it does not that much besides seeds. Win 11 games and you are secured a spot!

I agree....And when it comes to numbers I have faith in the human calculator (Mike Hominik). The system is a bit controversal, but overall its worked throughout the years.

No controversy whatsoever.  Berkeley is no longer undefeated.  I got fired up for this game and it showed.  Huge win.

That was the most embarrassing loss of my life. East Haven runs a god awful offense that went for "Maybe" 50 yards. When you fumble the opening kickoff and then allow not 1...not 2...not 3 but four kickoff returns of 70+ yards to my redzone each time all that does not matter. I would have lost to St. Mary school of the blind which I practically did. That is pitiful!

Ha, ha.  Porter you are a funny dude.  The final score reverand....27-14.  If my offense was so 'god-awful' why couldnt you keep me out of the end-zone?  I dominated that game from start to finish.  No you come on here and start taking shots and making excuses.  Take it like a man.  What was really god-awful was your special teams play and your passing game...way too many int's.  Welcome to east coast football.  We can ball over here on the east coast.

Excuses? Where. I sucked it up on special teams. Your average starting position was my 22-yard line....not an excuse, more like piss poor on my part and facts, thats all. The Madison Chargers,Manchester Bears and Amesbury Jets are going to the division playoffs in that division thats all I am saying.
When your special teams play sucked as bad as mine did,you cannot expect yourself to get into your usual offensive set. I'm not a player that is built to throw the ball 20+ times while attempting to comeback the whole game....I'm not that good. I dont see where the excuses are. The excuse was my sorry excuse of special teams play.

No problem.....Just bump everyone up one and add Brookline to the mix at #5

The Berkeley Steelers dont deserve to fall that far....they got screwed basically being held to play just a half of game. Just about 50 total plays run last night....that is crazy!

Up in the air....

Now a few more questions still to be answered.....

*Should Georgia stay #1?
*Should Brookline jump Georgia?
*Will Elsinore jump Anderson?
*How far will Berkeley fall?
*Will Boston or North Carolina enter the top 5 (both with one loss)?

Berkeley drops to #10? Wow. #6 or #7 maybe, but dropping seven spots to 10 was shocking to see.

Usually I would not admit this, but I agree that dropping Berkeley that far was a little harsh for one loss.
